About the role
The role of Cook / Chef involves the preparation and service of meals, as well as some cleaning duties. As our kitchen features all-day dining, some split shifts are involved. Our menu is Modern Australian, with seasonal produce, Aussie seafood and also our proximity to Asia influencing our menu items and daily specials.

Skills and experience
As you will often run the kitchen operation in the Head Chef's absence, we are looking for a very competent employee. While qualification is not essential, the ability to manage a team, produce high quality meals when the pass is full and to remain calm at all times is a must.
The HDT is a venue that gets very busy in a short period of time, so you must be well prepared and have the ability to lead your brigade in a calm and inspiring manner.
