We are currently seeking an experienced Café Manager to join our Company as part of the management team.

This hands-on position is suitable for an energetic, positive and enthusiastic coffee loving foodie looking for a challenging and rewarding position in the hospitality industry. You must possess a “can do attitude” and the ability to manage a high traffic Café.

Reporting to the directors, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering the ultimate experience, as per Brightside's high standards
• Managing all aspects of the cafe
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Implementing and promoting high standards of service to increase customer satisfaction.
• Staff Management (recruitment, on-boarding, ,worklife, off-boarding)
• Implementing operational standards to increase profitability
• Managing store budgets (stock, costs and labour)

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• At least 3 years relevant hospitality management experience in a café and/or restaurant or suitable qualifications
• Exceptional customer service skills
• People management skills : including training and developing staff
• Experience with cost control: food and labour costs.
• Computer literate with the ability to prepare and analyse spread sheets
• Sound knowledge of food safety regulations
• The ability to lead and motivate a team
• Enthusiasm and flexibility

Previous proven experience in hospitality management is essential.
