This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join our Sodexo Oil & Gas segment offshore. Working FIFO from Perth on a 2:2 roster, 12 hours per day this is your chance to join an organisation currently experiencing growth.
About the job
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will play a vital role in the successful running of the kitchen operations. As the Catering Manager you will be a skilled communicator with proven people management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. You will have the ability to jump back into the kitchen as cook, as well as support the team and be a safety leader with an understanding of Food Safety, Staff Management and Managerial Skills.
You will have the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement systems, policies and procedures. Bring your passion for safety and people to our team!
About you
You will have experience in a similar role, preferably working within the Offshore, Mining, Civil or Facilities Maintenance industries in a senior capacity. Current Offshore tickets are a mandatory requirement for the position, and include; BOSIET, CA-EBS, MSIC & CSTP.
In addition to excellent time management and leadership skills, a background working as a Chef with a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) is required for the position.
