YoYo Bar and Restaurant is a brand new concept restaurant offering a sensory experience to its guests.
The small, intimate venue is opening at the end of July and we are looking for a strong and experienced Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.
Working alongside experienced owner operators and a hatted chef, you will be responsible for kitchen operations and the general day to day running of our efficient and hard working kitchen.
Experience in a similar role is a must as you will be in charge of the kitchen on the Head Chef’s days off. This role is also open to passionate Chef de Parties ready to take that next step.
You will be required to:
• provide leadership and mentoring to any junior staff/ chefs that we may recruit.
• Be highly motivated, career driven and have a genuine passion for the industry.
• Be meticulous and show attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation and consistency.
• Maintain the smooth running of the kitchen in the Chefs absence.
• Adhere to strict kitchen budgets in regards to wages and COG’s
We would favour a chef that has full qualifications as well as tenure working in previous roles however we are also seeking Chefs and Junior Cooks / Apprentices of all levels to join our kitchen crew.
