Located in the heart of Woollahra, Bistro Moncur has become an institution in the Sydney Dining scene. This classic French bistro has a long established menu with guests regularly returning to enjoy old favourites, new specials, premier wines and an ever evolving cocktail list. Bistro Moncur has, and always will, stay true to tradition and a refined dining experience. We are looking for a talented, passionate and experienced restaurant manager to join the management team!  

About the Role:

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Managing the restaurant team whilst on shift
• Commitment to the sequence of service, procedures & quality
• Regular coaching, training and mentoring of staff
• Cost control with a focus on labour
• Brand compliance
• Building relationships with customers and regulars
• Ensuring the team is delivering excellent service
• Continuous improvement in operations, service and ambience
• Building local area relationships to drive repeat business

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a premium style venue
• You must have a restaurant background
• Excellent wine knowledge
• Strong leadership skills
• An ability to think outside the square
• Effective time management & organisational skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Hands on approach with a natural ability to lead a team to deliver outstanding service
