Front Office Reception - Casual
• 2 weekend shifts per week (approx. 16 hours) with occasional opportunity for additional shifts
• Free on-site car parking
• Off Blackburn Rd Exit on Monash Freeway
Hotel Bruce County is seeking a casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team small and passionate team. The successful candidate will be required to work in all areas of the Front Desk, including guest check-in and check-out, handling telephone enquiries and bookings, finalising guest accounts and processing reservations.
The Role:
• Be a point of contact for all guest needs
• Promote hotel facilities and associated facilities
• Accurately maintain detailed guest reservations, room allocations and charges
• Answering phones and be able to multi task between bookings via phone and email.
• And most importantly, exceed internal & external customer expectations!
The successful candidate must be available to work weekends and public holidays. Shifts will either be PM shift (3pm-11pm). Must be able to work autonomously.
Ideally you will have:
• Have your own car and drivers license
• Minimum 2 years hotel front office industry experience
• Experience with accommodation booking systems (We use RMS Cloud 9+)
• A passion for the hospitality industry & an eye for detail
