About the role

You will be responsible for:

- Following established systems and procedures to maintain high food and service standards, and making improvements where necessary

- Running effective service periods to a high standard

- Effectively managing bookings to restaurant capacity whilst ensuring smooth flow of service

- Collaboration with customers about their function requirements including menu selections and set-up requests

- Working alongside and communicating effectively with the management team including chefs to ensure the seamless flow of information

- Leading and managing staff to promote the positive image of the business with a strong customer focus

- Front of house hiring, training and rostering

- Effectively communicate with the head chef

- Identifying cost savings such as wages, and seeking potential avenues to increase revenue

- Admin duties such as responding to customer telephone and e-mail enquiries in a timely and professional manner
