About you:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Hatted experience preferred
• Demonstrated section leadership skills required
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• The ability to work co-operatively and productively
• A high level of hygiene standards and personal presentation
• A willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional management skills and the ability to build a strong team culture

The role:

• Managing a busy kitchen brigade in the absence of the Head Chef
• This is a hands-on role
• Inspiring the team and leading by example
• Creativity with menu items and assisting in developing new dishes
• Control and understanding of budgets, food and wage costings
• Maintaining Consistency
• Rostering, ordering and training of junior chefs
