Immediate start date
Up to 38hrs/week over 7 days
We are a dynamic and established food production business with a strong presence in the food service and retail industries. We service blue chip organisations with innovative fresh food solutions. As we continue our growth journey, we are on the lookout for new talent to add value to our fast-paced business.
We have multiple opportunities working in food preparation within batching, preparing or cooking food that will go into a variety of different products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Production of highest quality food to specifications on time and to production targets (involves food preparation and general cooking duties)
- Contribute to effective stock control and inventory management
- Maintain health and safety in the workplace
- Ensuring hygiene standards are maintained at a high standard within the kitchen area
- Maintaining effective working relationships at all levels of the business
- Adherence of all quality and safety standards
In order to be successful in this role you MUST meet the following criteria:
- Have previously worked within food handling
- Possess a drivers licence or have your own transport to the site
- Have the flexibility to work up to 38 hours per week over a 7 day period
- Be an Australian citizen or have an unrestricted work visa
- Have strong communication skills and a strong attention to detail
- Be able to work in a fast paced food manufacturing environment
- Be able to provide two recent and contactable work related references
