This client is a successful NFP organisation with offices and staff working across all of Australia and New Zealand. The focuses is community based foster care services, offering out of home care family and community based placements for children and young people who have experienced trauma through abuse, neglect and other complex needs.

With an army of social workers, support workers and carers working in the community, commended for their passion, knowledge and service, the need to grow the there is a need for an experienced, professional and passionate hands-on Qualified Therapeutic Specialist with proven clinical experience working with children and young people who have experience any level of trauma or in need of specialised care.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Tertiary qualified in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline
• Eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership  the clinical assessment and treatment of children, young people and families within the community.
• Highly developed ability to provide advice to clinicians and other professionals.
• Substantial experience in the area of child abuse and/or in working with traumatised children with an educated understanding of trauma frameworks
• Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively and the capacity to negotiate and liaise with key stakeholders relevant to your caseload as mention in the client description above

The successful applicant will be:-

• offered a salary between 75-78k plus super, phone, car, laptop, salary sacrifice and after 2 years services, a permanent additional weeks leave (from 4 weeks to 5 weeks)
