About The Role:
The Senior Dental Assistant will have direct responsibility for the support and mentoring of support staff in the the delivery of outstanding patient treatment and care. Your high knowledge in dental procedures, Australian Infection Control Standards and experience in the mentoring and management of people will position you for success in this role.
About You:
- Patient Management: Able to assist clinicians with patient care, discuss treatment plans and create estimates for patients.
- People management: Be able to communicate with and support the dental team to achieve cohesiveness and good working relationships.
- Systems & Documentation: Be familiar with the current Australian Standards in Office Based Practice. Follow and update practice procedures and record patient information.
- Business Improvement: Ability to ensure systems and procedures are followed, recommend improvements and assist with process documentation.
- Minimum work experience: 1 year in similar Senior role or 5 years minimum dental assisting experience.
- Must have permission to live and work in Australia.
