The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a passionate Clinical Support Specialist to join the Brisbane Regis team.

As the Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Full clinical oversight of a range of facilities, including all clinical reporting and documentation
• Engaging and consulting the clinical team on better practice outcomes in the provision of clinical care
• Assisting the clinical team in improving processes for better resident care outcomes as determined by clinical indicator results
• Assist the clinical team in identifying risks and implementing strategies to correct and address clinical risks
• Troubleshooting complex clinical care scenarios and resources
• Working with the Clinical Managers to engage clinical staff with skills gaps and mentor the staff to improve for best practice
• Supporting facilities to ensure all clinical documentation is correctly applied
• Assisting and coaching the facility staff in issues identified via the various Regis quality audits
• Mentoring new Clinical Managers and Clinical Leaders in performing their role and responsibilities
• Promoting compliance within the facilities and communicating these
• Preparing weekly site reports of actions and issues

Regis Incentive Program

In recognition of this critical role within Regis, in the FY18 year you will be eligible to participate in the Regis Incentive Program. Annually, you will be eligible for a bonus of up to 5% of your base salary. Achievement of the bonus is assessed against KPIs twice per year.

About you

As a senior clinician, you will:

• A Registered Nurse with extensive nursing experience 
• Previous clinical management experience of at least 3 years within an Aged Care setting  
• Demonstrated experience with successful change management
• Ability to establish & sustain a high performing team
• You will be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating good leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving and conflict resolution.
