We are seeking a registered nurse to join our team of doctor owned new general practice with Great Potential!!

Locations:

  • Oakhill Village Shopping centre (Castle Hill, Sydney) , Easy parking, good school, friendly close community

Position.

  • Casual, part time  ,3 or 4 days / week
  • Varied hours depending on your availability and experience. Flexible 5-7 hours shifts available. Monday to Saturday
  • Proposed commencing date Early Aug 2018
  • Pay rate will be determined based on skills and experience.
  • Aiming for long term. To upgrade to full time in the future.

 

Requirements

Expected to participate in all aspects of GP Nursing and be a team player. Ideal candidate would be competent in performing

  • ECG
  • Childhood Immunization and travel vaccination
  • Wound care ,ear syringing
  • Ordering and Stock take of consumables
  • Assisting  minor procedures
  • Assisting with recall and reminder systems
  • Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management Plans , but not compulsory
  • Good computer skills +/_ experience in Best Practice software
  • Liaises with receptions and Doctors
  • Venepucture for blood sample collection is highly regarded (when pathology nurse is unavailable)
  • Applicants must be a Registered Nurse, registered with AHPRA, Permanent Resident of Australia;

 

Experience in a general practice environment is preferred but not essential.  Chinese language skills are extra Bonus.
