About the business
GCH, as the lead agency for the GPIRC, holds the contract with the funder and is the direct employer of the Program Manager. However, Consortium members though the Governance Group share responsibility for all key decisions in respect to the GPIR model and budget, and other critical matters.
About the role
The GPIR catchment incorporates four sub-catchments: three rural – Central Goldfields, Grampians and Wimmera – and one, Central Highlands, which combines urban fringe, rural towns and the regional centre of Ballarat. Within this dispersed catchment there are high levels of socio-economic disadvantage, lower levels of educational attainment and significant numbers of residents experiencing poor physical and mental health when compared with other parts of regional Victoria and Victoria as a whole.
The GPIRC vision is: consistent achievement of best possible life outcomes for people with complex mental health needs (and their families/carers).

Skills and experience
§ Professional qualification in management and/or in a health profession; postgraduate level preferred
§ Five or more years' experience in a management role with a high level of independence and authority
§ Background in a sector with a focus on clients with complex needs
