About the opportunity

Reporting to the Facility Manager of this medium Aged Care residence within the Central West region of NSW, you will work closely within the managerial team to ensure each resident receives high quality person centred care. You will hold responsibility for the overall clinical governance of the facility to include overseeing the submissions & optimisation of ACFI funding.

Utilising your leadership skills, you will motivate, develop & mentor your care team members, support the service manager with the continued development & success of the facility & build strong working relationships with internal & external key stakeholders.

Clinical Care Coordinators looking at taking that next step within their career will also be considered.

Duties

  • Daily oversight of clinical governance
  • Leadership & direction to care team members
  • Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
  • Ensure resident care plans are completed accurately
  • Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
  • Management & maximisation of ACFI
  • Promotion of a culture of service delivery

Skills and Experience

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Staff management & leadership experience
  • Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Experience with ACFI process
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of quality & accreditation indicators
