You may be aware of the new MBS rebate changes in effect officially from the 1st of November 2018.
If you are considering a move or new RLRP opportunity the time to do it is now or miss out on A1 VR rates in RRMA4+ locations.
Please see update below
- All OMPS programs are gone so no more ROMPS or AHOMPS as of 1st of November 2018
- Any GP claiming the A1 rebate via the ROMPS or AHOMPS can continue to do so until 2023 after which if they do not have the Fellowship they will move to lower rebate.
- For none VR doctors working in MMM2-7 areas they will move to the A7 rebate, which is 80% of the A1 rebate.
