Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia believes that quality work deserves quality pay and as such we provide above award wages and conditions to our employees:
- A competitive hourly rate of $62.29 (inclusive of casual loading) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and access to generous NFP tax concessions (specifically, a salary packaging scheme offering up to $15,899.94 of your salary tax free)
- Monday to Friday position with flexible start and finish times between the hours of 8am and 8pm
- 3 days paid orientation training in trauma counselling

Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia acknowledges vicarious trauma as a WHS hazard which results from interaction with trauma content. In response we have developed a NSW WorkCover award winning approach that is tailored to each individual.

- Those selected from the paper application will be invited to attend a 3 day orientation held in Sydney’s Inner West Monday 09th July – Wednesday 11th July 2018. Invitations to attend orientation will be issued on Friday 06th July 2018. Positions will be offered after successful completion of orientation. Others will be advised at the end of the recruitment process.
- The role commences Tuesday, 17 July 2018 for a period of up to 3 months. On completion of orientation shifts for the first four weeks will be allocated. Subsequent shifts will be offered each fortnight at two weekly intervals.
R&DVSA holds an exemption under the Anti-Discrimination Act and only employs female trauma specialist counsellors.
