Do you have a passion for working with our older generation? Ozcare is seeking an enthusiastic experienced, knowledgeable Clinical Nurse to embrace this expanded role at our Port Douglas Aged Care Facility.
Your Role
Our team requires a Clinical nurse who understands and drives person centred care. Working with the Manager Clinical Care you will be assisting in setting clinical standards that reflects best practice, assist clinical and direct care employees to improve skills and knowledge through leadership and direction.
The person we are looking for should have advanced nursing skills in order to provide the supervision required. We are looking for someone who has a variety of specialist skills and passion for identified areas;
- Assessment
- Continence management
- Wound care
- Medication management
- Knowledge of ACFI practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide support and direction / delegation of duties to Registered Nurses and non-registered nursing personnel

Role Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA)
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills to ensure ability to use Ozcare's Client Management and clinical systems
- The ability to work across a varied roster and shifts
- Current National Police Check, prior to commencement

- Where applicable, Disability Services Queensland screening and Working with Children Check will also be required
