Tradewind are currently supporting a wonderful not for profit organisation based in Sydney's West who require an experienced Occupational Therapist to work with children and young people.
The Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team to support children and families on the Autistic Spectrum.
- You will develop and deliver evidence based, play-focussed intervention in a holistic environment.
- Implement autism specific programs with families which can be practised on a daily basis.
To be considered for this role you will process:
- A Degree qualification or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Full registration with AHPRA
- At least 2 years experience as a paediatric occupational therapist
- Knowledge of NDIS and NDIS services
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with families, children and supports in the wider community
- Ability to carry a case load and manage your time effectively
