E4 Recruitment are looking for a Commissioning guru to open a brand new facility in the Melbourne area!

THE ORGANISATION
A well-respected, leading Not for Profit organisation in Victoria. They have a great reputation for promoting staff from within and they have unique training and development plans to help staff to grow and develop their career.
The facility will be opened in late 2018 in North East Melbourne and will be a large facility where residents can really feel at home.

THE ROLE

Be part of the grand opening of a new Aged Care facility! Your role as Facility Manager will be to oversee the opening and to manage the facility afterwards.

This role will involve commissioning -> occupancy, weekly meetings, staff and recruitment and finances / budgeting. Lead by example and manage an excellent team in developing and commissioning this new flagship aged care facility.

OTHER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

Be responsible for overseeing the finances, budgeting and operations of the facility
As you will be commissioning the aged care facility - you will be involved with the occupancy and the staffing
Work closely with a top management team to ensure everything is running smoothly
Build strong relationships with residents, family and medical staff
Implement relevant legislative and policy changes and maintain appropriate Aged Care standards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Recent/ current experience in a Facility Manager/ Director of Nursing position in a medium to large facility
Commissioning experience is not essential but beneficial
Registered Nurse Qualification is beneficial but not essential
Strong business acumen and the ability to drive organisational performance
Experience in change management
Strong relationship building and communication skills
A passion for working in Aged Care and the motivation to provide the highest standard of care
