About the Company:
Our client is one of the largest Aboriginal Corporations in Australia representing the interests of around 2000 Aboriginal people living in 11 communities in the Central Desert region of Australia. The organisation aims to support the development of Aboriginal people, with the core of their work in assisting the remote communities to be strong and sustainable with reliable essential services.
About the Role:
As the CDP (Community Development Plan) Case Manager & Activities Officer your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Engage with CDP participants to facilitate and supervise work for the Dole activities
- Engage with CDP participants, developing job plans, regularly meeting with and providing ongoing support to CDP participants and completing associated IT processes.
- Activity supervision for CDP participants to improve their employability
- Identify and implement appropriate and approved incentives to support attendance at WfD activities
Essential criteria:
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with people from culturally and linguistically diverse background
- knowledge and experience in case management
- Manual drivers license
- Current Police Check and WWC card
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant area
- Previous experience in Employment Services and IT systems
