Our Residential Aged Care facility in St Agnes is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join the team. The successful applicant will be a bright, outgoing, committed, skilled and caring individual that displays empathy for the aged members of our community. To be successful in this role you must equally match our culture and values in the support and care for the frail and elderly living in Residential Aged Care.
Essential Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- A comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly aged related health issues
- Highly developed interpersonal, conflict management, negotiation and communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to foster and maintain good interpersonal and working relationships with all staff, management, residents, clients and stakeholders
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff to obtain high quality outcomes, as well as a commitment to teamwork
- Analytical and conceptual skills in approach to problem solving
- Ability to implement effective change strategies with commitment to ongoing Quality Improvement Programs
- Demonstrated commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents and their representatives,
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Drivers License

- A minimum of 5 years' Residential Aged Care experience
- Nursing qualifications
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- National Police Certificate & ability to complete a functional capacity assessment
- Italian speaking desirable
