Two Days a Week, Tuesday and Friday  

  Duties include, but are not limited to

• Antenatal check-ups during pregnancy
• Antenatal Education
• Postnatal 6 week check- ups
• Answering telephone queries
• Ordering routine pathology tests/ following up results
• Entering results into patient files
• Assisting Dr Arora with Gynaecological procedures
• Sending specimens to the pathology laboratory
• Sterilising of equipment
• Stock ordering and management
• Team player with flexibility in working hours.

     The successful candidate will have:
     ESSENTIAL

• Ability to work within and contribute to the team at Dr Poonam Arora's practice.
• AHPRA midwifery/Nursing registration.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate an ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Promotes excellence in patient care.
• Demonstrate a knowledge base on current midwifery practices and trends.
• An ability to relate in a courteous and caring professional manner to others, ensuring patient rights are respected.
• Flexibility will be required.

DESIRABLE

• Antenatal and Gynaecological experience.
• An understanding of, and commitment to, quality improvement.
• Current experience in area of work environment.
• Computer literacy
• Experience with Genie Software
