ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Melbourne Eastern Private Hospital (TMEPH) is a 60 bed private hospital with two theatres and an endoscopy suite that provides surgical, rehabilitation and medical services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to our strong and rapid growth we require some Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to be available for Casual and Locum positions to assist across both our Inpatient and Day program. There will be opportunities arise for permanent staffing as we grow in size.
DUTIES:
Your skill set will enable you to support patients with a broad range of conditions including Orthopaedic, Neurological and Geriatric populations. Your skills in time management and the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment will be paramount.
Your duties will include the following:
- Assessment of Inpatients and Day patients
- Intervention including individual and group based sessions
- Hydrotherapy
- Maintain Equipment register
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology Qualification
- APHRA registration or ESSA accreditation
- Current CPR certificate
- Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
- Current National Police Check
