We are currently seeking qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with experience in residential Aged Care / Pain Management to work with a nationally recognised care provider with several facilities throughout the NSW and Tasmanian regional and metropolitan areas such as Sydney northern beaches, Collaroy, Katoomba, Newcastle, Noosa, Brisbane and many more areas. The Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist will be attending residential aged care facilities for elderly, frail clients with a focus on treatment for pain management and re-enablement.
The work will be scheduled across a roster based on client needs, so weekdays and weekends are required, working 30 -38 hours per week, the locum roles vary from one week up to three months. Successful Allied Health Professionals will require current APHRA registration, Police checks and at least six months demonstrated experience working in Aged Care / Pain Management roles. New graduates will be considered if your clinical placements are relevant to aged care and pain management, and have demonstrated ability in these areas ( referees for the particular placements aligned with these requirements). Applicants who are able to start ASAP are preferred.
Travel to NSW/TAS: flights / fuel allowance and accommodation is provided by the employer. This is an excellent opportunity to travel, network and gain valuable experience interstate, build your CV and work alongside highly experienced practitioners to provide an essential service to your elderly clients, providing pain management and relief and enabling them a better quality of life.
Most roles are between four weeks to 12 weeks in duration. Going beyond the three month period, there will be further work available in Melbourne and potentially other states.
