Integrated Living are seeking a Podiatrist to join their Allied Health team

Our Allied Health Professionals are responsible for the delivery of specialist expertise and clinical services within a multidisciplinary team in order to optimise customer health and wellbeing outcomes.

With a dedicated focus on early intervention and individualised support, our Allied Health Professionals plan and deliver programs directed towards the achievement of customer health goals and enhanced quality of life

Your role:

  • To work within the organisation's vision, beliefs and policies to deliver high quality, skilled podiatry services in line with accreditation frameworks.
  • Maintain continuing professional development, indemnity and all other requirements set by AHPRA for registration with The Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • To act as an integral part of multidisciplinary care and assist in the education of clients, staff and the community as to the role of podiatry and encourage appropriate referrals.
  • Work cooperatively, participate fully and communicate effectively as a team member in the integratedliving Australia environment.

Expertise:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' as a Podiatrist.
  • Knowledge of foot and whole body health.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing and appropriately managing foot pathologies.
  • Strong clinical problem solving skills.
  • Awareness of autoclaving procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills appropriate to interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence based care.
  • Ability to work with the Wellness and reablement models to optimise podiatric health and maximise client independence.
  • Sound theoretical knowledge encompassing high risk foot management.
  • Thorough understanding and commitment to the principles of infection control.
  • Experience in biomechanical assessment and intervention.

Qualifications/registrations

  • Degree qualification in Podiatry.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Statement of current immunisation status
  • Must be willing to undergo a National Police Check
