To further enhance our clinical expertise we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Education Specialist position to join our growing organisation. The Hospital Care Division provides doctors, healthcare workers, pharmacists and hospital managers with reliable, intelligent solutions for the best practice patient treatment, especially in anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency medicine.
Reporting to the Queensland State Sales Manager, this is an exciting position within our highly motivated organisation and will entail a variety of tasks.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Develop and organise the in-service training to Hospitals for both new and existing customers, with a focus on the Hospital medical and outpatient sectors covering all B. Braun product ranges
- Strong pre and post in-service follow up
- Drug library understanding for the development of infusion protocols
- Project implementation of large scale education and training programs
- Provide clinical support and education across a wide spectrum of clinical practices
- Develop and deliver specific clinical training to B. Braun Sales and Marketing teams
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Ability to travel within Queensland metro / regional areas, with some interstate and overseas requirement.
Critical to the success of this role are:
Excellent communication / presentation skills, good planning / time management skills and the ability to be flexible. Successful candidate must be clinically qualified, ideally with Certificate IV Trainers credentials, be results oriented and have the ability to work autonomously within a team environment. It is expected that candidates have an awareness of the operating theatre and ICU protocols, as well as knowledge of the clinical application of infusion pumps and dose error reduction systems.
