About the role

We are looking for a casual Records Officer for our Records department based at Wentworthville Medical & Dental Centre. You will be responsible for responding to requests for medical records such as transfers and Subpoenas as well as performing additional clerical duties. You must have the capacity to work full-time hours Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm for 3 months.

The successful applicant will have a high level of integrity and maturity when dealing with the large volumes of confidential documentation received. We also require an individual who is independent and can take responsibility for turnaround times.
  
Experience & Attributes
  • Previous Administration experience is required
  • Previous experience with documentation allocation and records is preferred but not essential
  • Professional & personable telephone manner
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills
