About the Role
The role of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) Coordinator is to prepare, manage and lodge ACFI submissions and claims. It includes maintaining and conducting ACFI assessments and working closely with both senior management and allied health professionals to maximise funding and review ACFI processes to achieve best financial outcomes.
Training and educating of care staff in ACFI and documentation plays an important part of this role.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia EN or EEN registration
- A higher level knowledge & understanding of the ACFI instrument in a Residential Aged Care Facility
- Adequate working knowledge of legislation and policies relevant to aged care Experience working in an aged care environment
- Experience in ACFI assessment and care planning documentation
- Experience in validation of ACFI claims, and the workplace
- Computer literacy
Desirable:
- Workplace Assessment and Training qualifications
