About You
We are seeking a dynamic pharmacist with strong leadership skills to join our Pharmacy Department team. A Lead Pharmacist will have advanced clinical pharmacy and therapeutics knowledge gained through extensive clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
About the Role
Duties include the provision of professional supervision, mentoring and senior clinical leadership to pharmacy staff, students and other health care professionals within the organisation. You must have experience and skills in HR management, coordination, education and supervision of less experienced pharmacists, as well as experience with under-graduate, post-graduate and intern student programs. You will have experience in implementing quality improvement projects and research programs, including the promotion of the quality use of medicines.
Eligibility/other requirements
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Ability to independently apply an understanding of pharmacy services and assist with complex or difficult tasks with a high level of expertise.
- Post graduate qualifications highly desirable.
