Where you will be working
 
Jerliderie Multipurpose Service is a 15 bed facility with 12 residential aged care and 3 acute beds. The Mutipurpose Service also provides a range of community health services outreached from Finley hospital.
 
*There are currently two permanent part-time positions available in this area. One at Berrigan MPS the other at Jerilderie MPS.  The two facilities are located 37km apart, an easy commute for a Registered Nurse seeking employment from 16 - 32 hours per week.  While both positions are advertised separately with applications required for both, we would support applicants indicating the preference to work 32 hours with one recruitment process.

What you will be doing
 
Provide safe compassionate person centred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.
 
 
Selection Criteria
 

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with demonstrated evidence to meet the NMBA's Registered Nurse professional standards (code of conduct, code of ethics, guide to professional boundaries, supervision guidelines and standards for practice) commensurate with the position.
  
• Demonstrates continuous quality improvement with the ability to: comprehensively conduct assessments; develop a plan for nursing practice; provide safe, appropriate and responsive quality nursing practice; and evaluates outcomes to inform nursing practice.
  
• Demonstrated competencies in and/or knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in caring for individuals/patients/clients/consumers for the position.
