This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist to join our busy radiology practice close to Melbourne's CBD on a full-time basis.
Previous medical receptionist experience is essential, and the most important qualities we are seeking are:
- An attitude of customer service excellence
- A team player
- Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Well groomed presentation
- Punctuality & reliability
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential
- Experience in radiology reception would be highly regarded
- General understanding of Medicare codes would be beneficial
Your Number One priority will be creating a welcoming, customer focused environment for our patients. In addition the role involves:
- Greeting patients
- Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed
- Booking patient appointments
- Answering patient enquiries
- Managing the waiting room
- Managing billings
