Our Medical Specialist practice located at Buderim is now seeking a motivated team member to join our practice for three days per week in a Medical Secretarial role.  We are a busy office with a friendly team of professionals searching for someone with the dynamics to enhance our practice.

This position would consist of the following:

. welcoming  of patients to the front desk

. answering of telephone and providing assistance to patients

. invoicing and receipting

. scheduling theatre bookings and arranging the required teams

. liaising with hospitals and associated medical professionals

. working with our current computer programs along with Microsoft Office and Outlook

. typing of medical correspondence

. a previous minimum of twelve months experience in a medical secretarial role

. a sound knowledge of medical terminology

. a sound computer knowledge (experience with Genie essential)

. demonstrate a high level of patient care and front desk skill and an ability to adapt communication skills to meet the individual needs of a variety of patients

. ensure an enthusiastic and friendly approach and ability to work within a busy environment

. excellent time management and organisation skills

. strong work ethic
