The Epworth Freemasons Hospital provides a world-class health service. It is an exciting time to join Epworth Freemasons, having only recently been upgraded we have commenced a major redevelopment that will represent a generational change for our Clarendon Street hospital with construction underway to provide more consulting suites, operating theatres and improvements to patient amenity.

We are constructing a 12-level tower and buildings that will link to create significant onsite consulting opportunities for specialists, additional state-of-the-art theatres, expanded oncology services and extensive underground on-site car parking. We are also upgrading our maternity service facilities at our Victoria Parade campus in 2018.

Affiliated with several tertiary institutions, we are partners in facilitating Post Graduate studies in a range of specialties including; Critical Care, Oncology/Haematology, Orthopaedics, General Medical/Surgical, Midwifery and Perioperative nursing
The Epworth Freemasons Graduate Registered Nurse Program offers two 6 month rotations within gynaecological/women’s health, urology, oncology/haematology, acute medical/surgical, orthopaedic, plastics and day surgery. We also offer a dedicated 12 month perioperative (theatre) program.Epworth offers a program that:

• Provides a structured and challenging clinical learning environment which has both support and variety
• Offers a structured study component, including five development days
• Facilitates your transition to become a confident and competent Registered Nurse
• Enables you to develop a sense of belonging through collegiality and shared values through the Epworth person centred culture

Positions are 30 hours per week, including a rotating roster across all shifts. Successful applications will be offered a commencement date early in February 2019 or July 2019.
