This position would be well suited to an applicant with experience in the optical industry and/or healthcare industry. We are seeking a candidate with at least two years experience in either industry.
Essential criteria required for this position include:
- excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- the ability to work in a fast paced environment and to be able to prioritise accordingly
- attention to detail
- advanced computer skills and knowledge
The roles includes supporting and assisting our medical specialists with the day to day function of the practice including:
- vision screening
- pupil dilation
- patient flow
- assisting with minor procedures and injections
- conducting specialised vision related medical testing with a wide range of modern ophthalmic equipment including digital imaging.
- administrative duties in the management of patient care
- liasing with patients, doctors and external healthcare providers.
- Reception duties
Full on the job training will be provided Current driver's licence and reliable transport is required.
