We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our friendly, dynamic team and professional team in our modern practice which has seven consulting rooms.
The role will comprise of:
Triage and respond to medical emergencies
Administration (including sharing the Reception/ Admin work if needed)
Spirometry
ECG
ABI
Screening Audiometry
Serialization
Wound care
Liaising with doctors
Immunization
Cold Chain management
Recalling patients for preventative health and health monitoring activities
Conducting Health Assessments and Care Plans in a General Practice setting
Assisting with minor procedures
Stock Control and ordering
Any other duties expected from a RN in a General Practice Setting.
(Experience in the above is preferable, but willingness to learn is essential)
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Prior experience within Practice Nursing
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Knowledge of General Practice Accreditation and Legislative requirements
- High level computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Documented commitment to professional development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of infection control and cold chain management in a General Practice setting
- Experience with Best Practice (ideal)
- Experience with Medicare claiming
- Ability to work within a team of multidisciplinary staff
- Great time management skills
- Police clearance and child related employment screening
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Documented commitment to professional development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of infection control and cold chain management in a General Practice setting
- A team player

- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
