An excellent casual opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse at our Albury Hospital and Ramsay Place clinics starting immediately. You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 09:00 – 17:00 to cover any annual / sick leave.
Key accountabilities include:
- Preparing patients for interventional procedures and other exams/tests as required, ensuring adequate explanation and provision of information – both prior to the appointment and on the day of the appointment
- Managing nursing equipment in the clinic/department, including conducting regular checks of resuscitation equipment, oxygen and the emergency trolley
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administration staff, following directions and requests for support as required
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
- Able to wear lead equipment for procedures
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing
- ALS Competency
- Anaesthetic Experience
