It is essential for the successful applicant to be well presented, flexible, work autonomously, have a good eye for detail, deliver a high standard of care and possess an excellent knowledge of medical practice requirements.
This fast growing doctor owned centre supporting GPs, Allied Health Services and on-site Pathology is looking for a highly motivated, professional team player who is keen to be part of the ongoing development of our services, demonstrates initiative and can lead by example to achieve excellent results.
The casual position could incorporate shifts during the day/evening and weekends.
Skills and experiences required:
- Best Practice software
- Professional phone manner
- Display excellent reception skills , including appointment management, billing, banking, Medicare processes, online services, correspondence and scanning
- Troubleshoot computers and printers
- Relate well with patients, team members and visitors to the centre
- Establish a good rapport and manage the needs of the Doctors/Nurses/Allied Health
- Assist with administration, rosters, patient records, stock orders
- Assist with providing a safe & healthy work environment
- Assist with complaints & disputes
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Be reliable, honest and possess a high level of work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure
The role will be guided by the Practice Supervisor and supported by the Group Practice Manager.
