Mental Health Clinician – Child and Youth
RPN Grade 3 or Equivalent
Full Time Position – Immediate Start
($39.53- $40.53) Per Hour
Mildura Base Hospital (MBH) is a 165 bed (level 1) tertiary teaching hospital. The hospital is managed by Ramsay Health Care in a contractual arrangement with the Victorian Government.
MBH provides public hospital services on behalf of the Victorian Government to the community of Mildura and the Northern Mallee District. We are seeking a number of suitably qualified mental health clinicians to join our team.
For the position of Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) Clinician you will evidence:
- A caring, positive attitude and a commitment to seeking excellent outcomes
- An approved degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy
- Registration with your relevant professional body or the ability to register
- A current Working With Children Check and a current police check
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical care to children and young people who have experienced mental illness, in particular, high prevalence disorders such as anxiety and depression
- Skills across the spectrum of care, including, early identification, assessment, treatment planning and evaluation of care provisions to children and young people, their families and carers
- Sound knowledge and experience of collaborative work practices involving complex systems
- A commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards
