About the role

The Level 3 Theatre Coordinator is a management role  responsible for the provision of perioperative services within the Theatre Suite, including CSSD, Day Surgery and Recovery. Reporting to the Level 4 Perioperative Services Manager, this role will ensure the clinical coordination of the theatre, facilitating effective allocation of human resources and anticipate the equipment needs for operating lists. This is a leadership role and will contribute to the quality improvement programs and other facility activities to meet Service/Accreditation Standards.

  

What you bring 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Perioperative Suite
  • A minumum of 2 years experience in a senior leadership/management role
  • A keen interest and leadership for change for quality improvement within the Perioperative Suite
  • Registration with APHRA
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both in a team and autonomously
  • Advanced computer skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
