Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is the regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in East Arnhem Land, providing comprehensive primary health care services for over 6,000 Indigenous residents of North East Arnhem and public health services for close to 10,000 people across the region.

You will provide high quality, culturally appropriate and effective Midwifery & Women Health nursing practice and improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people at the Yurrwi homelands. You will also work in partnership with the Aboriginal Health workforce to provide high quality antenatal and postnatal care to clients of Milingimbi community.
You will need a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in remote Aboriginal communities and a strong interest in the health issues impacting on Aboriginal people in northern Australia.
