We're currently on the lookout for a Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist, to join our friendly and supportive Kensington Better Health Team.

The Role;

As our Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for quality community based services. Including home and centre based assessment, living skills training and management of clients with a wide range of medical conditions, disabilities, older people and their carers. Services are provided using client centred and self-management strategies. Liaison with external organisations for comprehensive and effective client follow-up is a key part of the role. In addition to the above you will be responsible for quality community care in accordance with current best practice and the strategic directions of cohealth.

To be considered for this position you'll possess;

• Excellence in the delivery of Occupational Therapy services, preferably in the community;
• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP) provider;
• The ability to work successfully across a multi-disciplinary service and with a wide range of diverse client groups;
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and regularly participate in team and organisational activities;
• Demonstrated experience contributing and participating in health promotion programs including planning, implementing and evaluate programs in response to community needs and in consultation with other staff; and
• A current Victorian driver licence.

This position will be paid under the Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Centres, Health Professionals Multi-employer enterprise agreement 2012 - 2016, Occupational Therapist, year dependent on experience
