We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Personal Care Attendants to join our hard working and dedicated team on a Casual basis for an immediate start at our Queens Park village.
We are a 24/7 operation this position is required to work shifts that cover weekends/days/afternoons/overnights plus sleepovers and relief work when required.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for providing exceptional care in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining privacy, respect and dignity at all times
- Support and assist with activities of daily living
- Manage and control emergencies relating to the well being of residents, staff and visitors
- Contribute and promote a safe environment for all staff, residents and visitors
- Assist in the preparation, servicing and delivery of meals to our residents
To be successful in this role you will:
- Find working with seniors a rewarding experience
- Enjoy contributing to our vision by providing our residents a great place to live
- Possess a Certificate III in Aged Care and a current First Aid Certificate
- Have 12 months proven experience within a similar role
- Prior cooking experience (highly desirable)
- Work well within a team, but also autonomously when required
- Be a natural communicator with well- developed interpersonal skills and have a cheerful and positive disposition
