What you'll be doing This position operates within a small multi- disciplinary team providing an integrated Child Protection Counselling and Child Sexual Assault Counselling and response service for children, young people and their families where significant risk of harm has been identified and substantiated by statutory agencies. This is a senior Clinical position and requires the position holder to have advanced clinical skills and exercise independent clinical judgement working with complex cases. Salary: Social Worker Level 3: $1826.90 - $1888.05 per week Psychologist: $1238.40 - $1840.63 per week Employees must abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct. Criminal record checks will be undertaken on successful applicants and applicants for positions designated as Category A will be required to obtain required vaccinations prior to commencing employment. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them. Recognised degree in Social Work, eligibility for membership of the AASW or degree in Psychology and full registration as a Psychologist with APHRA; and current NSW Drivers Licence. Demonstrated understanding of the impact of abuse and neglect on children and young people. Demonstrated post-graduation experience at Social Work Level 2 or Psychologist and advanced skills in assessment, therapy, counselling and casework with children, young people and families. Demonstrated experience working in a multi-disciplinary team managing complex client groups. Demonstrated high quality written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with government and non-government agencies in relation to multi problem families. Understanding of the impact of domestic and family violence and the grooming process in child sexual assault on children and young people. Need more information?
