ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Melbourne Eastern Private Hospital (TMEPH) is a 60 bed private hospital with two theatres and an endoscopy suite that provides surgical, rehabilitation and medical services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to our strong and rapid growth we require some Occupational Therapists to be available for Casual and Locum positions to assist across both our Inpatient and Day program. There will be opportunities arise for permanent staffing as we grow in size.
DUTIES
Your skill set will enable you to support patients with a broad range of conditions including Orthopaedic, Neurological and Geriatric populations. Your skills in time management and the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment will be paramount.
Your duties will include:
- Assessment of Inpatients including Personal ADL and Domestic ADL assessment
- Intervention including individual and group based sessions
- Home visits to assist in discharge planning
- Equipment prescription and education
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Occupational Therapy Qualification
- APHRA registration
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Current CPR certificate
- Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
- Current National Police Check
