Duties
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager – Inpatient Services (Physiotherapy) to assist in the overall coordination, leadership and management of Physiotherapy Services for the THS - North West.
In this role you will be responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of designated teams, providing direction and support to ensure a high standard of service provision. Your extensive clinical experience will enable you to lead clinical and service development initiatives and effectively advocate for Inpatient Physiotherapy Services in clinical and management settings. As part of a leadership team based across the Mersey Community Hospital and North West Regional Hospital you will provide high level clinical leadership and governance of Physiotherapy Services.
Reporting to the Manager – Physiotherapy Services, this role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities for an experienced and proficient Physiotherapy Professional looking for an exciting challenge in a team environment and location second to none.

- Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer *. The following checks are to be conducted:
- Conviction checks in the following areas:
- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- Identification check
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
* as required by CHSP, occupants of this role are required to undertake a conviction check assessment every three years.
