CHIEF EXECUTIVE/PRACTICE MANAGER
About the business
Canberra Eye Surgeons is the most comprehensive eye care facility in the ACT. Located in a new custom designed facility in Deakin, the practice offers a full range of consultations, diagnostic tests and outpatient treatments.
About the role
Managing the day to day functions of the business. You will be responsible for all aspects of Business Management, Human Resource Management & Development, Finance Management, IT Systems Management, OH&S, Quality and Marketing.
Reporting directly to the Surgeon/Directors you will be responsible for ensuring the patient’s experience is of a high standard.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, expertise and relevant experience:
- Undergraduate Diploma or Tertiary Qualifications in Practice Management or Business Management
- Comprehensive understanding of the medical environment including Medicare, Private Health Insurance and proprietary software systems
- Demonstrated leadership and change management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Apply sound Human Resource Development principles to achieve ‘business ownership’ at all levels
- Utilise Quality Management principles appropriately to achieve best practice
Remuneration negotiable based on qualifications and experience. This is a salaried position with designated car parking.
