Who the Client is?

Our client, a busy 7 day community pharmacy (part of a major national brand with a health focus) located in the Northern Suburbs is seeking a committed, motivated and experienced Pharmacist to work in their dynamic and friendly teams. 

A strong retail and community/aged care pharmacy, this is the perfect role for a Pharmacist looking to grow their career.

 

What you will be doing and will be responsible for:

Working alongside the pharmacy team you will be responsible for ensuring patients are counseled appropriately and prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.

Your role will be to deliver optimal healthcare and excellent customer service with a skill for building rapport with the community for superior patient care and product knowledge. You will also be responsible for reaching KPI targets and contributing to the growth of our pharmacy.

The successful Pharmacist will be fast paced, have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude, be reliable, friendly and have strong ability to recommend total health solutions incorporating front of shop products and professional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of store, dispensary and team operations
  • Accurate and efficient Dispensing of medications in line with legal and professional requirements
  • Professional patient counselling and provide complete patient care solutions
  • Monitor the sale and dispensing of schedule medications.
  • Provide advice regarding general medicines.
  • Build rapport with your customers and build customer loyalty.
  • Ongoing communication with Medical Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, and appropriate Community Groups.
  • Assist with business and process improvement.
  • Support and grow new business strategies

 

‘What you look like’ and need to demonstrate to be successful

  • AHPRA registered Pharmacist
  • Proven pharmacy experience
  • You need to have the flexibility to meet the operational requirements of the pharmacy (including late nights and weekends).
  • Effective communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to guide and support other team members
  • A can-do attitude and team focus
  • A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
  • Problem solving skills
  • Customer relationship management skills
