Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE

The OpportunitySt Vincent’s Private Sydney (SVPHS) is a world class medical and surgical facility and provides overnight and day only care across a broad spectrum of specialties. SVPHS is a 282-bed acute care facility, there are 10 theatres, covering a complex surgical case mix, utilising state of the art technology such as the da Vinci Robot. St Vincent’s Private Hospital is a Magnet recognised facility which demonstrates a high level of leadership, staff empowerment and professional practice.



The ADOCS - Surgical / Perioperative Services will be responsible for the management of the Operating Department, Day Surgery Unit, Intensive Care, Same Day Centre, Ambulatory Care Centre, Pre-Admission Unit and Booking Department.

About You

  • Authority to practice nursing as Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Senior RN with perioperative management experience
  • Post grad Tertiary qualifications - management ,MBA or similar
  • On call with role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team with change
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance in perioperative and critical setting
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve at a senior level
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to a continuous improvement philosophy
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
  • High-level computer literacy
  • Commitment to continued professional development
  • Previous experience in similar senior roles
