About the Roles
Registered Nurse
Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse on a casual basis with a view to being made permanent. There are morning, afternoon and night shifts available over both weekday and weekends.
This is an ideal role for a Registered Nurse looking to work in a supportive and welcoming environment and to assist with providing the highest level of care to our residents.
Recreational Activities Officer
Thompson Health Care is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate for our Recreational Activities Officer position. The role is on a casual basis with weekday shifts available.
The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on keeping active, enjoys interacting with people and being creative.
Registered Nurse Skills & Experience:
- Current registration with AHPRA and preferably 2 years or more experience in an aged care setting
- Have sound knowledge of ACFI documentation or willing to learn
- Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
- Skilled communicator and ability to build rapport with others
- Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust
Recreational Activities Officer Skills & Experiences:
- Have experience in organising and coordinating recreation activities for residents including bus trips, afternoon tea, running bingo sessions, group activities
- Strive for excellence in customer service
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have passion and genuine care for elderly
